🍜✨ Restaurant Review: Gerrard Street Kitchen, Washington DC ✨🍜
If you’re in Washington, DC, you need to check out Gerrard Street Kitchen — a hidden gem inside Gerrard Street Kitchen! This spot brings bold Asian-inspired flavors with a modern twist, all under the creative touch of Executive Chef Bader Ali.
I started with the Mini Tuna Donburi and Mini Salmon Donburi — both packed with flavor and perfectly balanced with tobiko, ikura roe, and a drizzle of unagi sauce. The Steamed Edamame Dumplings were light yet full of umami, setting the tone for an amazing meal.
Then came the Garlic Chili Ramen and Classic Miso Curry Ramen — rich broths, tender braised short rib, shiitake mushrooms, and that perfectly marinated soft-boiled egg 🥢. Each bowl felt comforting yet elevated, a true highlight in this Washington, DC restaurant review.
For drinks, the One Spring in Tokyo cocktail was floral and refreshing with hints of lychee and coconut — a must-try! 🍸
Dessert time didn’t disappoint: the Chocolate Crunch Bar was silky and rich, while the Floating Island (egg white cupcake with vanilla drizzle) was the perfect light finish 🍫🍰.
If you love trying globally inspired dishes that feel fresh and exciting, Gerrard Street Kitchen deserves a spot on your list. This restaurant review is one of my favorites lately — every dish tells a story, and every bite leaves you planning your next visit!
