Chelsea Restaurant β Santa Monica Food Review π΄
Just wrapped up an incredible dinner at Chelsea in Santa Monica, and wowβ¦ what a night! This restaurant review is packed with flavor highlights you need to try. π
We started with the Albacore Ceviche β fresh and bright with corn, coconut milk, chilis, mango, and crispy chips. Next came the Burrata with heirloom tomato, plum, pistachio, lemon olive oil, and polenta croutons β especially loved this! π π₯¬
For mains, the Steak Frites was juicy and rich with a bold cognac peppercorn sauce and golden shoestring fries β so tasty and perfectly cooked. π₯© The Norwegian Ocean Trout came with baby winter veggies, rosemary fingerling potatoes, and a smooth chardonnay dill sauce that paired beautifully.
The drinks elevated the night β the Shades of Pink cocktail (fords gin, strawberry, rosemary, pink peppercorn, lime, lo fi dry, tonic) was amazing and paired perfectly with the burrata and steak. We also enjoyed a glass of Silene βCapensisβ Chardonnay from South Africa.
We ended with their Key Lime Pie topped with whipped cream and berries β honestly the best Iβve ever hadβ¦ creamy, tart, and flawless. π₯§
